The Havelock

The Havelock - Outside

The Havelock is a small inn located by the seaside in the popular tourist town of Nairn. Owned by Nairn locals, Gordon and Morag Holding, since August 2015, it has a welcoming, informal atmosphere.

The Havelock has wonderful views over the Moray Firth and takes full advantage of its position with a large outside decking area, perfect for dining or enjoying a drink on a summer evening.

The Havelock was renovated in August 2015. The new décor is contemporary and fresh with modern appeal.

The Havelock is a typical Scottish "pub with rooms" with five comfortable well-equipped en suite bedrooms. Most rooms have sea views and spacious bathrooms.

The welcoming atmosphere makes the Lounge Bar popular with tourists and locals who drop by for a game of pool, to watch televised sports or join in the fun on weekly Pub Quiz. There’s a good range of lagers, beers and bottled ales along with an interesting selection of gins, whiskies and cocktails. Bar meals are served daily and the restaurant is open at weekends.

The bistro-style restaurant at the Havelock serves traditional Scottish dishes freshly made from locally sourced produce. Scottish steak and home-made burgers are a speciality.  The Steak Sizzler Menu every Friday and Saturday is a always popular.  See FOOD page for details. The restaurant is popular locally and so booking is recommended.

BREAKAST ARRANGEMENTS
Guests who book to stay on a  Bed & Breakfast basis will have breakfast served at our sister hotel, The Braeval Hotel which is located two doors along from the Havelock.
